I've had this for a few months...just now posting.
9.5" CORE15 upper, Spikes Lower. The rifle on the top is a standard 16" Carbine with a YHM Phantom. The 9.5" upper plus YHM Phantom are the same length.

Re: 300 BLK Picture Thread
I finally completed my 300BLK Suppressed SBR project! My target was a sub $2000 build including the $400 in stamps. I came really darn close at $2059.99, including a few recycled parts from my parts bin. Haven't been able to shoot it yet, but hope to in the next day or so. Special thanks to Justin a...

Re: 223 Sabot in 300BLK Anyone tried it?
Here is some data for a 110gr VMax from my 16" CMMG. This is 20gr H110 for reference, and the info below was generated by Point Blank Ballistic Software (Freeware). 350yds seems to be the 1500FPS line for this particular load. Ballistic Data ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Range Elevation Velocity Energy ETA D...

Re: 223 Sabot in 300BLK Anyone tried it?
My 110 V-max load is leaving the muzzle around 2350FPS from a 16" bbl. Using Point Blank's software, it drops below 1800FPS at just past 200yds. I would guess the 110 Barnes to be pretty close as well. Punchline is that the 110's may expand at 1800FPS, but that means they are probably going to...

Re: 223 Sabot in 300BLK Anyone tried it?
I think the OP has a valid question. While the energy from a 110gr .308 round is on par or even greater than a lighter .224 projectile, the 110gr round is at the boarderline of reliable expansion velocity once ranges start to get to 200yds and beyond. So, you might be poking nice .308" holes in...

Re: Range report for sierra Pro Hunter 125 spitzer
I shot a few last weekend. I was trying to get some quick and dirty load data to fine tune, so had a wide distribution here and was looking for consistent velocity vs. outright accuracy at this point. From what I've been finding I think you might be better off with Lil'Gun, around 20-21g in my load...

I shot a few last weekend. I was trying to get some quick and dirty load data to fine tune, so had a wide distribution here and was looking for consistent velocity vs. outright accuracy at this point. It was also 95deg outside, so take that into consideration. I think it has some potential. I notice...

Re: 300 BLK Picture Thread
Looks like Stickman has definitely taken a drink of the blackout kool-aid and liked it! This will eventually be an SBR with YHM SS QD can. Forms are in process, so most likely get the approvals this summer some time. http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd136/jblomenberg16/DSC00023.jpg For now, Spikes...
