Re: What to do for 300 BLK subsonic
That is good to hear. It may still not work for me because the barrel I ordered is carbine length gas block. I have also read a couple other threads on here that talk about clipping back the buffer spring and using plastic or super light weight buffers so that they could shoot lighter weight projec...

Re: What to do for 300 BLK subsonic
I shoot 175gr subsonic bullets through my 16" AR rifle and 9" AR pistol. I have never had a cycling issue (with the suppressor on). With the 16" barrel, I break the sound barrier with about 10.4gr of Accurate 1680. With the 9" barrel it's still subsonic with 10.8gr. The lowest po...

Re: Dented case mouth
Are they handloads? If so, are they lower velocity than standard?
Are there any loads that you've tried that did lock the bolt back?

Re: For Californians, please read, your rights are at stake
Isn't Yee the schmuck who wanted to ban the bullet button a few weeks ago, because it was imperative that Californians not own "assault rifles" or some such nonsense?

Re: 300 build help
Like I said, I'm completely new to this. You mind pointing me in the right direction on where to get parts and do you think it is really possible for me to do this myself? I did everything myself except mate the barrel and upper last time. But if you're not comfortable, don't try it. I got all of t...

Re: Google trends on 300 BLK:
Yes, I'm a crazy tin-foil hat wearing conspiracy theorist because I'm aware of some of the domestic spying campaigns, many of which have been confirmed by the government. Or the recent games the ATF has played to try to implicate American guns in Mexico's drug wars, which the NRA (among others) clai...

Re: .223/5.56 brass for 300 BLK
I've been running trimmed .223 brass through a Lee resizing die without any issues. I'll measure some wall thicknesses tonight (if I remember).

Re: blowback?
My OPS-4 upper has no forward assist (possibly the dumbest idea ever--if the round doesn't feed, do you really want to shoot it?), and the charging handle is attached to the bolt, through the ejection port, so there's no gap there for crap to spew out of. My RRA traditional upper doesn't hit me with...

Re: Google trends on 300 BLK:
Really? So if the US military adopted the 300blk you dont see how that would be beneficial? It would lower the price of ammo for one and 2 it would greatly increase the number of companies that make 300blk rifles and accessories dropping prices across the board. Its a good thing that they are inter...
