H110, W296, and 300-MP are exactly the same?
Maybe some of you have already read this, but I just read the Propellant Powerhouse article (page 28) in the Dec 2013 Guns & Ammo. They claim that H110, W296, and Alliant 300-MP are all the same powder, made at St. Marks Powder in Florida. That would be consistent with my test results with H110 ...

Re: Wierd Accuracy issue
Based on your load above, I expect they should be over 2200fps from your 16 inch barrel, and should still be going over 2000fps at 100 yards. Even with your 1:10 barrel, JBM stability calculator shows it should be stable out past 300 yards. It would be interesting to see how consistant the chrono sh...

Re: 30/30 bullets And unique powder
I have not tried, but 30/30 round nose bullets may hang on the feed ramps of an AR-15. They may work in a bolt gun.

Re: LilGun
Maybe barrel length would be good to add to the chart. Although probably not always available. It may explain some of the velocity diffs.

Re: using pulled 7.62x39?
I believe 30 carbine bullets and 30-30 bullets would work in a 300BLK bolt gun, but would most likely not feed in a AR-15 because they are round nose bullets. So, if you have a bolt gun, and you find those cheap, it may be worth a try.

Re: Share your 300 Blackout Loads here>
Hi all, Here are the results from another day at the range. Some loads with 300MP. Sorry for the long post. I wanted to explain a bit about each load, rather than just post a bunch of load data. I have a CMMG 16" barrel in a AR-15. Temperature for the day was about 60 deg. Most everything here ...

Re: Share your 300 Blackout Loads here>
I think the 300MP is going to work out well. I was not done working the 125gr TNT, and expect it should go over 2200fps with out any pressure signs. I'm just wondering how high it will go. Have you done anything else with the new Alliant powder? My range just opened backup up after being closed a c...

Re: Brad's Warehouse Brass
I bought 250 cases from Brad. I've loaded and shot just about all of them once through by now. They work great, no problems.

Re: "Showing signs of pressure" What does this mean & look l
right, they were there before I used them. They were once fired 5.56 brass converted to 300 BLK. I've only fired them once. So, no issues. I'm going to run a few of that same load but at 20.0 gr and 20.5 gr just to see if the primers change enough to even be noticeable. 20.0 gr is the what Hodgdon c...
