Re: T680

The hypothesis we want to test is if the two powders have the same density. I ran descriptive statistic analysis on your numbers: Mean: 24.26 Standard Error: 0.035835883 Median: 24.3 Mode: 24.3 Standard Deviation: 0.160262942 Sample Variance : 0.025684211 Range: 0.5 Minimum: 24 Maximum: 24.5 Sum: 48...

Re: T680

I live in the PHX area and bought 8# of T-680 at their shop. It is a legitimate company. I was told to use load data for A1680, no other data was given to me. I have not used it yet because I am waiting to finish my build. While you wait to finish your build, can you do us a favor, and run a pretty...

Re: Accuracy with Suppressor Problems

Conan,
Can you try different ammo? If you see the same behavior, then it must be the suppressor. If it shoots ok with and without, then, you probably have a bbl harmonics issue. My two cents.

Re: 300 blk supersonic through a pistol can

One reason I like Quuickload s/w so much is for this kind of "what-if" questions. Although the maximum chamber pressure can help to provide base line comparison, IMHO, muzzle pressure is a much better predictor. I compared muzzle pressure between my favorite 45ACP load with 230gr FMJ and 3...

Re: Cycling problems, but flattening primers?

It might far fetched, I know, but reloading errors do occur. :) If you have any rounds left from that batch, pull one a weight the powder. If not agreeable to that, then, weight the h=whole cartridge, and subtract the wieght of the bullet, primer and case (using unloaded samples, of course) it won't...

it'll add 1-2 weeks at worst. Not a big deal. Been there, done that. I made the "multiple calibers" mistake. Hang tight!

Re: Cycling problems, but flattening primers?

Did you clock your load? What mvs you got? You may have dropped the wrong charge. I use an electronic scale with a 10 grain plastic pan. While developing a new load, I once I spaced out and forgot to account for the 10 grains. The loads performed poorly and had flattened primers and some cratering. ...

Re: .223 to 300 blackout

Cut 223 brass just below the neck. Lube, re-size trim. You r done. You will also need something like this: http://www.harborfreight.com/bench-top-cut-off-saw-42307.html On mine, I removed the mini vise and replaced it with a fixture I fashioned out of wood to speed up the process. You may want too a...
