Re: Can't get 150gr GD to sit still
Sorry to be slow responding. Still in the woods a lot till first of the year. Then it'll only be 3 or 4 days a week. With deer season now winding down and the part-timers clearin outta the club I'm gonna mess with it s'more. Will try this newer batch of unused-since-processed brass and take mo...

Re: Can't get 150gr GD to sit still
I do push the case mouth into the RCBS lube pad and won't claim to do much more than wipe it off for cleaning after. So it def could be a contributing factor. These cases may have an issue. Was gonna try some newer cases to see if I got different results. It's kinda hard to mess with it much right n...

Re: Can't get 150gr GD to sit still
Got a few days back from hunt camp for mid season break. It's cycling fine. Got it tossin'em out a few feet away bout 5'o'clock with the Barnes 110's (bloodied it on a nanny this past week). What I was havin trouble with is the bullets moving forward in the case when they cycle. It may be a non-issu...

Re: Can't get 150gr GD to sit still
I've only been cycling by hand letting loose from lock to somewhat simulate live cycling. I've installed a PSA AGB (cause that's the only one I could find I was sure would fit under that skinny handguard) and turned the gas wayyyyyy down. It was seriously overgassed and flinging brass into the next ...

Re: Can't get 150gr GD to sit still
Re-made LC. Shot several times. RCBS FLSB sizer, Lee seater and LFC. By "stout" I mean stronger than the usual light touch. I sure ain't standin' on it. Dunno how ya measure that, actually. Got s'more on order. Used these in the Handi. But would like to be able to use them in the shorty, m...

Can't get 150gr GD to sit still
Hey guys, tried the 150gr GD in the 7.5" PSA upper (super/suppressed) and it shot ok. But checking the OAL the bullet is moving forward pretty good (.005"ish) after just one cycle from the mag. Even more pronounced with trying to cycle it multiple times. I'm FL resizing and putting a stout...

Re: SilencerCo
Sorry for the zombie thread resurrection, but they're worth it.
I won't bore you with the details but a hearty "Yes" to what's already been shared here.
They "resurrected" my old Omega 30 a coupla years ago. Great folks.
As for me and my house, we will go SilencerCo! d;^)

220grSMK's 298ct Trade or sell***SOLD***
***SOLD*** I'm now running a Handi in BLK so I don't need these and they went super from the Noveske to the Handi. I've got a boatload of .308 projectiles for the BLK already. These were pulled with a kenetic puller (yeah, ouch) and are in great shape. I have pics of a handful I tossed out on a rag ...

500 pieces prepped LC BLK brass
I have an extra 500 pieces of Carolina Brass prepared 300 BLK Lake City brass. Just don't need it right now. $85 shipped within ConUS. Will trade for equal value of .44 lead, 30-30 150gr Remington Core-lokts (bullets or ammo), whatever else that may be handy or just nice to have for a "man of t...

Re: Light bullet sub loads for a Handi (</=125gr)?
I think I'm comin to the realization that for the price of a few boxes of heavier bullets, many of which I already have AND the powder to push'em out the barrel, I can avoid this risk and headache till some Trail Boss shows up somewhere. Leave the lightweights to zippin super. Seems like the little ...
