Re: "Best Price on the new Ruger American Ranch 300 BLK" THREAD!

$444 at Cabela's with a $10 off coupon. I do not know how you guys are scoring Americans for under $400! I called 3 LGS and they all quoted me the $419 price... Lucky guys

Re: Ruger American Ranch Rifle 300 blackout

Found these low rings on Amazon which appear to be the same as the Vortex Hunter low rings.

The difference is the price. $8.95 vs. Vortex's $20. The reviews on Amazon have these working great on "true" .308cal rifles with a little blue loctite!

Re: Ruger American Ranch Rifle 300 blackout

Low rings at a minimum. Ultra low is better. Damnit! I ordered medium Vortex "Hunter" rings. I might have to return them depending on whether Vortex's "medium" is just enough for the scope to clear the rifle. I say this because Vortex labels their scope ring heights based on the...

So the M-300 is 3 times expensive as the P-300 but with less magnification? That seems strange.

Re: Ruger American Ranch Rifle 300 blackout

"Cheapest" and "best" do not compute, as they are generally the opposite of each other. Let's just say I would like the 5 star cheapest option a la Amazon.com... The Ruger in of itself is a "cheap" and "best" option for a bolt action 300blk rifle! $75 for a p...

Re: Ruger American Ranch Rifle 300 blackout

I just picked up my Ruger yesterday and I am set on getting a Nikon p300 scope.

I want to know what rings to purchase? Ideally, the cheapest and best option available IYHO.

Thanks!

Re: "Best Price on the new Ruger American Ranch 300 BLK" THR

That's what I thought... maybe there is a way that they can get the serial number off the rifle without physically having the rifle. In that case, I could go into the store, fI'll the necessary paperwork, and have my background checked which would allow the rifle to be sent to my home? I thought the...

Re: "Best Price on the new Ruger American Ranch 300 BLK" THR

Academy wants $479 when they get stocks in. I have one on reserve unless another deal presents itself. I found the procedure to order a rifle at Academy interesting. The rep told me I can purchase the rifle once "seen in their system" and then the rifle would be shipped to my house.
