Re: Thompson Center's Contender or now the G2
I had an 8" barrel in 300 Whisper (a progenitor of the Black 25 years ago. It's a great Contender round; a few grains of H110 under 125gr. Ballistic Tip had .38 Special-level recoil but could hit targets at 200yds. (with a higher trajectory). Suppressed, it was quiet as a mouse fart. In a 16&qu...

Re: Moving to new address with tax stamp guns
I have to ask, what is the penalty if you do not inform them of a change of address?

Re: Bump Stock ban
There is no authority to ban gun parts.
BATFE could try declaring the bump stocks to be machine guns, but Congress would have to change the definition of "machine gun" legislatively first.
If course, Obama showed that the government does NOT have to follow the Constitution any more.

Re: $22.43 for shipping 1 box of ammo???
It's all predicated on the contract they have with their shipper.
There's a seller who charges $13 to ship a single 1911 magazine; all his items are shipped via UPS at a similarly high rate so I don't buy from him.

Re: Loading some leftover barnes 150gr tsx bullets?
i was referring to cartridge overall length. If the round doesn't fit in the magazine due to its length, it becomes a single-shot.

Re: Loading some leftover barnes 150gr tsx bullets?
In almost all guns, Barnes recommends seating 'X' bullets at least .050" off the lands. This is to avoid pressure spikes.
If you can load the rounds with that clearance and still feed from the magazine, proceed.
