Re: Magtech ammo
Does anyone know the claimed velocity for this 123gr FMJ load? I can't find it on Magtech's website, here or the web. Their site has a listing for 300BLK but seems to show 115gr and 147gr loadings, and the box photo on Palmetto clearly shows a 123gr bullet.

Re: Loaded ammo coming from Prvi Partizan in 2016
No one wants supers! No one wants subs unless they own a silencer. Remington Premier Match is 21.98 @ Cabela's and then there is a rebate. Remington has 120 GR for 14.98 all over. Point being this stuff needs to be cheaper than that but I'm not going to hold my breath. Glad to see some love from PP...

Re: Fiocchi ammo
Very glad to see this finally on the market, and looking forward to reviews. I'm noticing a stated velocity of a rather leisurely 1925fps with the 150gr FMJ, compared to some brands claiming a still somewhat leisurely 2000fps for similar bullets. I'm definitely getting the sense that 110-125gr bulle...

The stated ballistic coefficients are VERY high. What is the source? Purely calculations, actual doppler radar testing, other testing, ?

Re: Australian Outback ammo
Sent them an email on 1/21, received a noncommittal but positive reply. Sounds like they will get it if it's available at a price they think will sell. (Kinda obvious, but at least it wasn't a no.)

Re: Flat vs. curved?
They both work. I own Geissele triggers of both designs, and don't have much preference either way. Geissele also came out with a "Super Tricon" that is a hybrid curved/flat design, that looks like it might be better than either one alone.

March/April sounds great. More options = goodness.
Slight thread veer, but any ETA on the Magtech stuff?

Re: Vote on which company needs to make supersonic target am
There was a time when I was not sure which way to go, and was working on custom magazines. The arguments that you make were the same ones that I was thinking about. So in the end, which way to go was a judgement call. No one stopped me from the path of a custom magazine or even discouraged it. I pu...

Re: Vote on which company needs to make supersonic target am
For the love of g*d, this was supposed to be a poll of which companies we were all going to lobby to make our ammo, and someone has turned it into an incredible diatribe against the guy who's done like 90% of all the work done by anyone to make this a big commercial reality instead of an obscure wil...

Re: Vote on which company needs to make supersonic target am
I have seen the Fiocchi brass, and you will like it. Great! :) I have no issue with the Remington brass, except availability. For well over a year I've been sitting on over 1k in 300BLK ammo, wanting to shoot it but not wanting to be out of ammo if I do. Once the pipeline for 300BLK opens up, I'll ...
