Re: Words cannot describe
I'd like to see the original photo without the caption. Is there a link to it or website? Never mind, found one: http://www.mrconservative.com/2013/03/6521-new-york-swat-officer-ridiculed-by-civilians-who-notice-his-rifle-scope-is-on-backwards/ The glock commercials linked there are pretty funny. A...

Re: Hornady 110 Grain soft points accuracy??
Keyholing indicates that your bullet is tumbling and is bad. It shows that the bullet hit sideways instead of tip first. As stated, make sure you are getting true keyholes by shooting a piece of cardboard instead of paper. For the bolt failing to lock open, I'd check the carrier (or swap carriers if...

Re: Suppressed SBR with EXTREME high cold bore shot????
Are your bullets crimped? The manual loading process could cause setback or more setback than the rifle system loading. Try chambering a round manually, then eject it and measure the length. This fits with the first round going supersonic and possibly off target. Your powder charges are a bit heavie...

Re: New Build. Advice requested.
I am looking at a new build with no Blackout experience. My intent is a low cost "next generation" weapon also usable for hunting deer. The plan is to use a GWACS CAV15 loaded "lower" that comes with a carbine buffer. I will be using a 16" barrel with both supersonic and su...

Re: removing FSB - effect on accuracy?
If you do go with a low profile gas block, try to verify if it is supposed to fit flush against the shoulder on the barrel. Most are designed for a handguard cap to fit between the block and the barrel shoulder. There was a thread on this back in the fall. It will likely cause function problems if t...

Re: New AAC 300 BLK upper issues
Did you try the other lower with the AAC upper? Also, try the PSA lower with the other upper. It could be an assembly problem with either part as both are new or tolerance stacking. I'd try swapping uppers and lowers before mailing anything in (and probably try a few different magazines). Typing abo...

Re: removing FSB - effect on accuracy?
One more benefit to cutting the front sight--if the gas system worked before you cut it, it is near impossible for it to get out of alignment with the two pins that hold it. A low pro block can get knocked out of alignment. If you plan to cover the block with a handguard, some of the clamp on styles...

The bullet should work fine. I ran 110SP, 110 Vmax, and 150SP that all have a similar profile. I'd suspect the case.

Re: Help with Noveske upper
Looks like the feed ramp is getting them. Were the lowers standard buffer and standard spring? If not, I'd try standard (carbine spring and buffer if collapsible stock). Also, try a new bolt and carrier if you have another.
Good luck getting it straightened out.
