Re: who has decent priced 220 grain bullets

I am interested in too. MidwayUSA Shooting Supplies is the only one I may find cheap bullets. Any other places?

Re: Subsonic 147 gr. load?

I tried 10.1gr of A1680 on 147gr M80 bullets. In my AR-300BLK, it did not cycle. The sound was much lower than supersonic rounds.

I read that >210gr bullets will cycle in 300BLK.

Re: Any Advise Using RCBS Powered Case Trimmer?

I use the following Bench top cut-off saw for brass cutting.

and then, trim the cases by
Hornady spindle trimmer.

Re: Model 1 300 BLK site

I had a chance of shooting my load.
Hornady Soft point 150gr bullet.
23gr A1680.
OAL=2.14 inch
1.5-4.5x scope used.

5 shot group is 1.5~2 inch at 100 yds. This is better than my Ar-15 and AK-47.

Sonic speed, 1126 feet/sec may vary depend upon temp, humidity, height, etc.

Re: Model 1 300 BLK site

I was busy to make my own recipes of A1680. I shot many but I didn't measure accurately.

In this weekend I will show my groups. But I can tell you this. At 100 yds, the supersonic 147gr M80 bullets from my 300BLK Model1 make better groups than my AR-15 223 and AK-47.

Model 1 300 BLK site

Model1 sales has a reasonably priced 300BLK upper.
The figure is what I bought from them. light, accurate, and very satisfied.

Re: im looking for someone loading with 150gn's

I am 100% sure about my numbers. 24.0gr of A1680 with 147 M80 bullet without any pressure sign. Of course I read the reloading tables and also I read the following data from 7.62x40wt. 110 gr. Hornady V-Max 26 gr. Accurate 1680 (16" or longer bbls) Lake City Formed Case Remington 7 1/2 2.175&qu...

Re: im looking for someone loading with 150gn's

I increased A1680 powder to almost maximum. If you fill a case to maximum, 24.5gr A1680 is possible. Some powder will spill from the case and make a table dirty. I dropped 24.0gr of A1680 on a case and compressed it with 147gr M80 bullet to make OAL of 2.24 inch. Today I tested the rounds without an...
