6" Barrel?
So I have been seeing 6" 300 Blk Barrels out there recently. It sure would make a compact pistol or SBR! I have a 7.5" 1:7 twist that shoots both Subs & Sups pretty well. Would a 6" Barrel be at all practical for either Sups or Subs?? Any of you guys have any experience with a 6 i...

Re: RARR now available with AR Magazine
Don't get me wrong..., I'm glad Ruger went with a AR Mag compatible on their new model!
But aren't they shooting themselves in the foot by not making it compatible with their proprietary Mini-14 mags instead?!

Re: 6.5 Creedmor more popular than 300 Blackout?
I would say that without a doubt, the 6.5 Creedmoor has been the most popular cartridge out there for several years running now!
300 Blk. has a fairly large following..., but it's still somewhat of a "niche" cartritdge...., although the "niche" is growing!!

Re: Scope Help
Have you considered the Nikon P-300 BLK?
I'm a die-hard Leupold man..., but I recently picked up a Nikon P-223 BDC Carbine Retical for $149.99 and am very impressed with the quality & clairty!!
I believe the P-300 BLK is $199.00...., might be worth looking into??

Re: Anyone using the CMMG 8.5" upper?
I just finished a Pistol build with a 8.5" CMMG 300 Blackout 1 in 7" twist w/WASP Finish I bought from Midway. The fit, finish and function are awesome. The barrel is very accurate with Subs & Sonics! Muzzle threads seem to be fine.., I always shoot it through my SDN-6 and have had no ...
