If you buy a barrel and bolt from Wilson it will work. We hold our tolerances and QC so closely that they are essentially matched.

I think you have a gas leak somewhere in your BCG. However-we have found that the 18" barrels really need a hot load for best functioning. Like a factory supersonic or other hot loading. Customers have reported using lightweight action springs with good results and plying with buffers but hones...

Make sure your brass is properly resized. This is the #1 issue with converted blackout cases. Turn your resizing die down to hit the shell plate and turn the die in another 1/4-1/2 turn until the press cams over and the shoulder is sufficiently bumped.

Your gun is undergassed. If its not locking back a heavier buffer won't help.

We use a standard carbine buffer and spring which would also be fine for 5.56.
