Re: Speer Gold Dot 150 BLK

heres my latest chrono results for loads using the 150 gr; Gold Dot. all were shot out of a 16" bbl. Bear Creek upper with an Omega suppressor. the C.O.A.L. was 2.145 using Winchester small rifle primers. powders used were A-1680 and H-110. Re: Bullet Recommendation?

I've had good luck and lots of one shot kills on deer & hogs with the 125 gr. SST and H-110. I recently got bit by the 150 gr. Gold Dot bug and will probably switch over to it as my hunting bullet. have worked up a load using H-110. I haven't killed anything with it yet but it shoots good. as said a...

(remember when the powder companies gave away those pamphlets for free?) I loaded up 10 rds each of 19grs, 19.5 grs, 20 grs,...

Re: CFE BLK

thanks! looks like it is best for subs with heavier bullets. I was hoping it would be good for the 150 gr. Gold Dots but I will try it with them anyway. maybe my barrels will like it.

CFE BLK

on a whim (and a free hazmat sale) I ordered some CFE BLK powder to try. if anyone here has experience with it, I'd appreciate some info. is it good for subsonic and super sonic loads? all bullet weights?I haven't seen any published data on it. I will start Googling after I post this but does anyone...
