Re: Differentiating between your Sub and Supersonic Mags
I plan to use only FDE pmags for 300, and the rest of my mags are black, they will have the 5.56. My 5.56 rifle is black, and the one on the way is black too. my 300 build (waiting for stamp) will have fde furniture, so that makes it simple. Mentioned above was the fact that 20 rounders were used f...

Re: Case cut off tool ***In stock ready to ship****
Ordered one the other day and didn't even have time to get down to Harbor Freight before the cutoff tool showed up in the mail.
I wish all parts manufacturers were this fast these days. Looks like a terrific tool and can't wait to get the saw and start chopping brass!

Re: Switchblock Gas port Diameters for 300 Whisper/Blackout
I have one on my 308 AR, works very well. Nicely made, kinda spendy compared to a Palladin or JP.DarkSoul wrote:You can get them here, http://www.blackfoxresearch.com/ , I don't know if they are in big production yet, so there may be a wait, but they work very well.

Re: need 300 blk barrels
I think the Noveske wouldnt be any easier to get anyway. If I am going to wait (as I am, LOL) I will wait for Noveske. They and the LW barrels that come from Mark Larue's shop are the most accurate semi barrels I have ever shot. Buy once.... I finally put up the $$ for a 10" Noveske 300BLK. Wi...

Re: Upper receiver
If you want to spend a little more for an incredibly well made upper, check out the VLTOR MUR.

Spendy, but you really can't find an upper with a better fit and finish.

Re: Subsonic cycling question
As far as versatility goes, so far I've shot 110 and 150 supers suppressed and unsuppressed with very good results and 220 subs suppressed that are equally as accurate. I'll probably try some 168gr supers just for kicks, but don't think I'll really shoot those mych. I just don't think you'll be gain...

Re: Subsonic cycling question
the only real reason to shoot subs is if you have a suppressor. If you get a barrel designed to shoot subs w/out a suppressor, you're going to be overgassed when you do get a suppressor. why would you want to shoot subs w/out a suppressor? I would get the barrel you want and shoot supers until you g...

Re: Vortex SPARC
When I was looking for a red dot, I stopped in at Cabelas and fingered a SPARC. Seemed decent enough for the $$, but it seemed like the objective window was a little small and I felt it was kinda big and clunky on the outside. WIth a SBR 300blk build in mind I wanted small and sleek. I was torn beca...
