Re: Supressed home defense SBR???
For defense rounds use factory ammo, preferable something that is "for law enforcement" Attorneys will argue that you were not satisfied with factory ammo and you wanted to cause additional pain and suffering by using loads of your own design. I would also suggest that you carry shooters i...

Re: 220 grain bullets and 4227
At 9.2 grains, were you satisfied with the suppression you were getting? Again, thank you very much for your generosity. Noise is pretty subjective. I think my Omega is pretty awesome. My goal was to make one load that is suitable for both rifles. My AR has to cycle reliably and lock the bolt back ...

Since I have 8 pounds of it! My go to powder is A1680. I just ordered 250. We will see how it goes. I hope that flat nose feeds in my AR.

Re: Car wash soap in your tumbler with stainless steel pins ??
Don't use anything with WAX in it to clean brass! The brass cartridge must momentarily stick to the walls of the chamber when fired! Otherwise the bolt thrust can increase to dangerous levels! I have found that Dawn and lemi-shine are such effective degreasers that I have excessive friction when I ...

Anyone have thoughts on this or do you use something else??
Have a great day.

Re: 9mm SBR Thread
OK, I'm putting one of these together and waiting on parts. Trying to decide on a red dot or other sighting system. What's the 'best' 3x and under sight for $300? Primary Arms makes a 1-6x that has an illuminated reticle and at 1x is great for CQB with both eyes open. I bought one for 3-gun and pai...

http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/ae221/jfcisme/SBR9mm_zpsad4641f3.jpg The brass deflector is for left handed shooters. This feature is on all mil-spec M-16 and the AR-15 family. Next to the brass deflector on a 9mm carbine there is a gas deflector. It is a functional piece of equipment that shoul...
