Re: Speer Gold Dot 150 BLK

Greg I loaded 21.5gr of cfeblk at 2.204coal for my 10.5" barrel. I'm getting getting 1" and under at 100yrds. 21grs was almost identical. I'm not sure I can shoot much better than that with such a light gun and milspec trigger. It's really just for proof of concept because I'm just going ...

Re: Speer Gold Dot 150 BLK

Thanks man. That’s the same upper and can as I have. I’ve got A1680 Available. I’m interested to see your H110 numbers as well as that’s how my 150s are loaded. I really need to buy a LabRadar and get to worn with it. You're welcome! I'll post again when I load H110. I'm low on Gold Dot bullets, so...

Re: Best upper/lower?

To me the best lower is easy, it's the Radian AX-556. https://radianweapons.com/receivers/lowers/lower-receivers Like other high end lowers it's very well made with all the right flares and dimensions, and has things like the threaded bolt catch pin and one piece trigger guard you see in others. Bu...

Some do. Some do not.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had was a piglet shot in the woods and then made into fajitas.

Re: Any hog hunters here in Houston?

My wife happened to find a guy posting on Facebook about having hog issues on his land. She was the first reply and I’ve hunted there since. I try to go 3 times or so a week. This is a 60 acre farm on the West San Jacinto River. I’ve gotten 2 hogs, 1 coyote, 1 raccoon, and solid hits on at least 2 ot...

Re: What is a good Night Vision Monocular?

I have been wanting to get a decent night vision monocular for a while. I know nothing about them. Who here has one, and what is a good make and model to get? The most I would want to spend is $700 or so. Any input greatly appreciated. About the best you’re gonna get at that price is the Syo...

Re: Anyone sized .310 123 gr gold dots down to .309 for 300 AAC?

Bump, I’ve killed 2 hogs with these bullets now. Accurate and decently hard hitting. I wonder if I can push them hotter, but I spent my $$ on a progressive instead of a Chrono. I was planning on cutting into the hog to find the bullet (as it was a front on shot just left of the spine from my perspec...
