Robert did you try 308 SLAP projectiles reloaded into 300BLK?
I understand you basically made your own out of drill rod but I didn't know if tungsten would make a big difference.

Re: Twist Rate
Robert, thanks for the info. It's not often one an get information directly from the guy who designed something. People get personally committed to their opinion and have a hard time accepting new facts. For some it's just a foreign concept to go with facts instead of what someone who they perceive ...

Re: Gemtech Ammo
That would make sense if there is a gas check on the base but otherwise it will deposit a thin film of lead in the suppressor just like .22lr.
If you shoot any volume it's going to add up.
Has anyone gotten their hands on any of these?

Re: Twist Rate
If future plastic tip subsonic come out, they will be longer for any given weight, and faster twist may help. I did an accuracy test with supersonic and could measure no downside to faster twist. Robert, I have a Noveske 1:8 which working well but with the announcement of the new purpose engineered...

Re: cycle problems
I put about 4 mags through the gun of both super and subs and it seemed very under gassed. I did get ahold of PWS and they sent out a call tag and are picking up shipping. Seems like there were a few that went out with undersized gas ports. I tried running it both wet and dry and the gun just wouldn...

Re: cycle problems
Not to resurrect an old thread but I have a 16" upper that has been sitting for about a year and finally got a chance to take it out. Having short stroke issues with supers and subs without a can and will only cycle supers with a suppressor. Going back and forth with their email CS. They keep a...

Re: Cooper Cartridge Company ammo failures
I just went ahead and pulled all the projo's and they are waiting to be reloaded. Shame.
ChadTRG42, if you can post who has had out of spec barrels I would appreciate it. If you don't want to post it please PM me if that's OK.

Re: Cooper Cartridge Company ammo failures
I had the EXACT same problem with Gunn ammunition. I kept calling and sent pics of the obvious out of spec ammo. I would get the song and dance about how he would make it right and send out replacement ammo the next day. Never happened. Pull the projo's and move on. I wouldn't trust anything they wo...
