I just got my YHM PHANTOM can 2 weeks ago and I was surprized at how quiet it was . I am shooting handloads out of it . 220smk with 11.2 of 1680 powder with cci small rifle primers . I dont remember the coal but its quiet and I like it.

Dont believe everything you read on here , I have Jard triggers in mine and a reduced trigger spring set in one of them and I have yet to have a light strike on the primers. They will actually set your triggers up for you so you dont have to fuss over them, Get in contact with them , there actually ...

Greg, I have a link for the Gunshack in san antonio tx for blkout barrels on a group buy for a savage build but I'm not sure on an AR platform other than CMMG. I have thought about some 844 and some bluedot powder with a paper divider between the two keeping them seperate like a mini cupcake paper . Just thinking out loud here. Anyone ever tried this ? I know you shouldn't mix powders but would it be the best of both worlds ?

Hey buddy was that a complete pass through on that shot or was the smk still in there ? Waiting for the autopsy report .....LOL... Great job ..Just kind of curious as to where I stand with my load shooting 11.2 of 1680 and a 220smk with a 16" barrel, as I dont have a chrony..
