Yes, and I do have the original factory rail that fit's on the receiver. With the stock and Timmy trigger, it's a steal of a deal.Longcarbine wrote:Is the receiver on this drilled and tapped so that the scope could be placed further back.

Re: boyds stock for the rarr
I bought one for the 223Rem version. Easy to bed in the stock blocks, shoots great in it, cheap, and much better handling than any of the chassis systems.

Re: Remington Model 7 extractor.
I put in a sako type extractor for the 700 I built in blackout, probably 9 years ago. Solved all of my ejection issues. try ejecting a case slow, if the case is ejecting into the front, inside of the receiver then this is your issue. I have seen several Remington extractors fail, at the most inoppo...

Is an ATF Form1 required or did you buy the action legally ready to build as a pistol?

Re: RARR/ Stock Options
I have the 223 version of the RARR and saw the same issues you have. I started out with the MDT-LSS stock and it's very good, shrunk my groups by 50%, but the original MDT made magazines are only reliable with eight or less rounds in them. I now have a Boyd's stock, it works very well, just a sight ...

Re: Coyote Zero Distance
Figure out the maximum point blank range for a 5" circle. Zero for that distance being were the bullet makes a pass through the bottom of that circle at that range. Or 2.5" below your zeroed distance.
