Re: Yankee Hill Phantom

I've got a direct thread Phantom TI and love it. I don't have any adapters. I believe it has been discontinued (the DT version).

Re: Multi-cal silencer...which is a better value?

Optimus is listed at 18.5 ounces in "full size" configuration. Mystic X is 10.5, presumably with no mount. I have an older Mystic (not the -X, so not rated for 338 Win Mag). It performs flawlessly on everything I've used it on. It is too heavy for a small(ish) 22 pistol.

Re: ATF Form 4 wait Times

Check cashed 1/26/2017. Form 4 Trust, two Responsible Persons. Started hearing "We're just waiting on the FBI background check" around September 2017.

June 10, 2018, will be the 500 day mark.

Re: Removing Beneficiaries from Trust used prior to 41F

My understanding is that it came at the request of big manufacturers . Can you imagine the turn over in a business with 500 employees and having to do this every time? Q and A was drafted by ATF.

Sorry, was not intentional. I deleted some language when I hit the "quote" button, but didn't move anything around.

Re: Removing Beneficiaries from Trust used prior to 41F

My understanding is that part of the reason for 41F was that a Trust allowed someone without fingerprint/LE clearance to be in possession of a can or maybe even a SBR if their name was on the Trust. 41F still allows someone without fingerprint/ LE clearance to be in possession of NFA items- See Q&a...

Re: Small bench, dual presses, removable mount system

A 6' loading bench would be heaven. Mine is 36" with a Rock Chucker and a Dillon 650 mounted on it. Doesn't leave me much work space, but it's in a small room in my condo that also doubles as a storage room, and business office. My wife refuses to even go in it, so maybe that's not all bad. LO...

Small bench, dual presses, removable mount system

I’ve got a bench that is 6.5' wide with one side flush against a wall. I use the bench for all kinds of stuff and didn’t want to have to remove two presses every time I needed to use the reloading bench as a workbench. Came across a product that uses removable plates for a reloading bench. Allows yo...

Re: Had to talk to the neighbors

...... The fact that I had a nine mm drawn on the front porch to make sure I wasn't attacked when the boyfriend answered the door should tell you something. His first statement was, and I quote -" Someone needs to shoot that SOB. " Was he referring to the dog or you? Sorry you were forced...

Re: Feeling sick about a deer :(

Fast forward 6 months. My father was tracking a deer into the trees and stumbled across a skeleton of a red stag about 200m away from where we shot. It was a good 10 point stag We call them elevator deer. The ones that either appear or disappear so quickly and effectively that the only possible exp...
