Re: Factory Remington 700 pistol in .300blk

Great product. For me, the BLK is the best round for a gun like this but I can definitely see the 308 for hunters who hike way out for big game. The short barrel takes a lot of weight off. I hope it sells well enough that they offer more cartridges. The tiny folding bolt gun is a great concept.

It's not perfect but I like the concept and I hope it takes off. Available off the shelf counts for a lot.

Re: Gear Head Works .300blk bolt action pistol

Q has a bolt action pistol at SHOT and Remington will be selling the 700 as a pistol. I'm really hot on the concept of the bolt action braced pistol. I took a long while warming up to the AR pistol, but I'm a fan now. Same concept in a bolt action sounds like as good a way to blow money as any.

9mm subs

This might be better on silencertalk, but it seems like most of the serious users are here now so I'm throwing this out here for discussion. I'm seriously thinking of jumping on a 9mm AR pistol locally. I have some 147 grain ammo and bullets, and I'm wanting to get into some 158 grain ammo to get th...

I like the Speer 100gr half jacketed "plinker" bullet for just the sort of shooting you are describing.

Re: 300blk bolt action pistol with brace?

That pretty much confirms what I've seen. It would be cheaper to sbr a rifle than it would to build a pistol on a virgin action. I'm not going to do either in the next few months, so this is largely academic. As far as sbr-ing a Contender, that may be my next tax stamp. I was looking for a barrel ba...

300blk bolt action pistol with brace?

So every gun imaginable is being made as a "pistol with a brace" lately. It works well on ARs and the 10-22 charger with a brace is not bad either. I know I've seen bolt action pistols in the past but I haven't seen many new ones that I recall. Does any company make one? Am I the only one who thinks...
