There are several different weights of buffers. "Standard" really depends on the type of AR you have.

Anytime you add or subtract weight from the barrel, it can affect accuracy by changing the harmonics.

I've never used the barnes 180 in a blackout, only the 110. Using it other calibers, it has been my experience that barnes bullets like to be pushed fast.
