A good friend of mine found a gun shop that had 5 pounds of W-680 he was nice enough to snap it all up for me .. I found it to be hotter and faster than my 1680 powder. I have a bunch of parts sitting around and was think of building a 300 BLK pistol AR .. What are your thoughts on this kit to complete the parts I have. It's just going to be a plinking gun . Yeah but ain't that rebated boat tail cool on the Lapua? Great projo, but you are right, more $$$$ Yeah it's cool looking but it stunned me how deep I had to seat them due to the ogive on the bullet. Granted my M1S upper has a short throat but I had to seat them to an OAL of 2.085 to keep them off ...

Well I learned something new today.
In the past I only remember primers had a haz mat fee.
Shows you how long it's been since I ordered powder.
Never made any sense to me that loaded ammo ships with no fee but components do.

No sh*t I'd be looking for a new powder too .. Good luck ..

300blk has done a ton of testing with different powders.
I found A1680 and stopped.
