Re: Best brass to keep?
Here’s what I would do. If you’re loading for a bolt action I would look to LC converted brass for hot supersonic loadings. If your primary interest is heavy subsonic then you may not have to be quite as picky on your brass selection. Ive never used starline in 300BLK so I have no comment on it. May...

Re: A1680 and Dillon powder measure
Does Dillon still offer some sort of an adapter that allows you to use a different brand of powder measure on top of their press? I don’t Use 1680 powder in my Dillon but I use 1680 in a powder measure made by Redding and it meters extremely accurately and very clean with little spillage. I’m sorry ...

Keep that one for supersonic ammunition and I’ll bet you’ll be very happy with it.

I would definitely experiment with loading longer for your single shot rifle. For supersonic loading you stand to dramatically improve performance on game.

Re: 300 BLK SBR - what is your zero?
There’s really not a big difference on paper even though the BC can be significantly different when using a 220 grain bullet at subsonic muzzle velocity. Specifically I’m referring to the difference between the 220 Sierra match king or the 220 Sierra round nose in my example. As others have stated, ...

Yes, here’s the bullet sitting on the bottom of the case next to a loaded 110 Nosler. Measures 2.050”. Not much left for powder at magazine length. https://i1044.photobucket.com/albums/b446/dellet/Mobile%20Uploads/0151FB5A-4642-4541-9424-01026473132A_zpsoqgcttgv.jpg Dang that’s long. Looks Like tha...

Re: Why don't mfg post min exp velocity?
Yes, that's what I'm wanting to know. I want to know how at what fps a given hunting bullet expands in concrete and zombies. Hahah I would think it penetrates deeper into zombies then it would into concrete? Seriously I don’t know why they don’t include some sort of standardized ballostic gelatin t...

How did they shoot? I was mainly suggesting that you reduce powder charge below the minimum to see if that helps with your bullet issue you’re trying to use now. Also, try calling this number and ask to speak to a technician. (660) 827-6300 Email is much too slow for my taste and I always pick up th...

Re: A1680 and 230gn HPBT SMK issue!
I would use what the manufacturer told us way back when this first came out. He said to use 11.2 grains and adjust down as needed. This was with a 220 grain SMK. https://web.archive.org/web/20161002074822/http://300aacblackout.com/ Be sure and save a copy of this in case it ever disappears because I...

Re: Buying a gun - No CCW?
the stupid BATFE just changed the rules here for michigan ... your cpl no longer stands in lieu of the NICS phone call, because recreational marijuana is legal here now, and our state doesnt mandate a drug test to get your CPL to confirm you're not a "habitual user". https://www.thetrutha...
