Re: Cva scout rifles
Bonus: the trigger is really nice. Haven't checked it on a scale but it does feel good.

Re: PSA Blem Complete Uppers W/O bcg$ charging handle
Make sure you check headspace. PSA has good warranty support but they don't do a lot of quality control. Some of their bargain barrels have tight (or short) chambers. Same for other makers as well. Chamber reamers are expensive so makers will use them a little too long and end up with short chambers...

Re: Cva scout rifles
Looks like CVA has been reading their reviews. They've brought back the Hunter in 300 BLK, and it's a takedown model as well. It's a compact model (13" LOP) and stainless steel, too. Here's the new catalog. Scroll down to page 8 for the Hunter: https://cva.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/CVA-201...

SWFA.com had a pretty good sale. It's worth getting on their email list. They only run a sale once or twice a year.

Also, a Gen 3 Glock plus an adapter from Endo Tactical and a KAK arm brace makes a very small package for a pseudo PCC. Add a red dot and you're in business.

Re: Moe p-mag problems with my AK-47
The golden rule of gunsmithing is to modify the cheapest part first. I am not a gunsmith, but I concur with modifying the cheapest part first. Easy to get a fresh mag; hard to fix a receiver or trunnion if you grind too far. Mags are considered disposable items. Okay, combloc AK mags probably do la...

Re: United States Supreme Court
I am happier than a pig in mud. Let the leftists whine all they want. Kavanaugh will be an excellent Justice. The first accuser's testimony seemed coached. The story had lots of holes. I suppose it's possible that she was actually assaulted at some point, but trying to pin it on Kavanaugh at this da...

Re: Barrel Nut Torque
The torque spec for the barrel nut is between 35 ft-lb, and 80 ft-lb. I prefer to follow that rather than wonder if it's right. There's shims available if you can't get the gas tube to line up with the nut.

Some people just can't be taught. They already know everything.
