My 11.2 gr 1680 is going CRACK out of a 9" AAC upper. Load up at 10.0 gr and it will work perfectly!

11.2 grs of 1680 goes Trans/Super sonic for me. No Chrono to confirm- but my ears say CRACK!!!! I loaded a batch at 10.0 gr and perfection! Everything cycled and was as quiet as a mouse fart!

Has anyone had an issue with consistent seating using the ultra micrometer seating die? I've got everything locked down tight, but am getting a range of 2.094-2.084 without changing anything. I have the regular dies and I have some the same problems too. No change to the die yet one can come out 2....

You can always start like me- A RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme kit. Comes with a press, scale, powder measure, loading book, and just about everything you need except a shell plate and dies. I paid around 400 for it from Midway. Then you can upgrade after you get some experience.

Just removed the whole neck of a shell in the sizer die. Mind you I have already sized them with my RCBS 300 whisper die. Think Forster might have jumped the gun on this one.
