Re: Should price of UMC supersonic be raised to help availab
Price should be whatever the market will bear - I arbitrarily chose $16. I'm not saying i'm not a fan of lower priced ammo as a consumer, but there's no business sense in Remington selling the ammo at way below market price and not being able to keep up with demand.

Re: First 300 BLK Pistol Build - Noveske, melonite
Any concern of the barrel extension loosening from the barrel?
I heard the high temps used in the salt-nitriding process is a no-no for assembled AR barrels due to possible loosening of the extension and barrel. If this is a non-issue, I'm tempted to do the same.

Re: 300 BLK KABOOM DSA arms
sad, but glad you (hopefully) weren't hurt...
I had my first squib from a .40 glock reload a few weeks back - luckily it just barely stuck in the lands and the next round wouldn't chamber. Good reminders to be cautious when reloading.

Re: Dillon 550B Set Up
The rifle powder funnels don't flare the case mouth like they do on the pistol dies.wildfowler wrote:I have a question for those loading rifle on the 550.
Do you let the powder funnel expand the case mouth? If so, do you still chamfer and de-bur when you previously trim the brass?
Thanks.

Re: Long Range Optics
^^^^^^ man if your willing to spend 1500 why would you even consider bushnell. There are way better scopes in that price range. I don't even use em on my rimfires anymore changed em all over to redfields. But man for 1500 you could get one hellava scope. High dollar scope and bushnell don't belong ...

Re: Long Range Optics
I'm strongly considering the Bushnell HDMR 3.5-21x50 scope. It's priced right at $1500, with the Horus H59 reticle. It's heavy (34mm tube, weighs 35oz), but good magnification range, lifetime warranty, and glass made in Japan (supposed to be decent and almost as good as S&B/USO/Nightforce et al)...

Re: Aluminum black Birchwood Casey
not very durable, but it works OK to touch up areas that are dinged up. worth the $10 in my opinion. Make sure to degrease the area well before you use it.
