Anyone have similar results with AA #9?
Found a thread on the subject of 300 BLK Subs @ the Sniper's Hide Forum. The following is an excerpt from 1 post. I have a Model 1 Sales 10.5" SBR in 300/221, and using 220gr SMKs, I found that 8gr & up to 8.8gr of AA#9 would cycle my AR, AND be subsonic. Anyone else running AA #9 Sub loads...

Re: other 300 Blackout options
Confiscation at this point would be improbable, given the shear quantity of unregistered firearms out there. The prerequisite for such a confiscation is registration. Very unlikely to be implemented by a dictatorial edict. Any upcoming AWB would grandfather existing firearms. As to the future, we wi...

Re: 458 SOCOM or 50 BEOWULF
I'm biased towards the .50 myself. I bought my first upper, sold it, built my second and really enjoy it. Reloading is the way to go with this cartridge. I guess "challenging" is all relative. I've wrecked one piece of brass so far. You do have to be careful but if you are meticulous you ...

Re: 458 SOCOM or 50 BEOWULF
Beowulf uses the same mags, but they are modified. Mag lips are bent slightly out.munchie3409 wrote:I don't own either, but if I were to choose...I'd go with 458 socom because it uses the same AR15 mags. I could be wrong, but I thought the 50wulf uses a different mag.

Re: 458 SOCOM or 50 BEOWULF
I have the Beowulf. It is fun to shoot. Brass is expensive. Factory ammo? I've never bought it. I have bought a 12" barrel and I have a VERS50 suppressor on Form-4. Plan to do some quiet Hog Hunting this spring. I developed a subsonic load with the 500 grain Hornady XTP a few years back. The Be...

Re: umlaut industries review from new customer
I would have contacted my credit card company and ended that transaction, bogus restock fee included.

Re: My Leonidas is in!
Great pics! When you say it had to be ordered as an SBR so the baffles can be disassembled, was it package #2 or #3 on Liberty's website? Sounds like you gave them a registered lower to build on. It was an option #3, I sent them only my upper. When you place the order, you specify pinned, or unpinn...

Re: Group Buy for 300 BLK Savage Barrels
Excellent. I'll install the barrel, test some loads, and my can should be in next month.
