Re: Censorship

Just tried Tmobile on Android and chrome. I was able to get to the site and sign in. The first attempt to sign in did hang for about 1 minute before I tried again and it let me in.

Re: STICKY - Good/Bad brass list converting 5.56->300blk

TAA is Taiwan. I have also done thousands of TAA headstamps and they work perfectly to the point I can't tell the difference between TAA or LC. I can tell the difference if it has been fired out of a M249 or AR. The ones fired out of a 249 tend to be harder to resize but what I found to make it easi...

Re: 110gr ZMAX Failure to Fire only first round

Sounds like the bolt isn't closing all the way and is just a fraction of an inch still open. This could happen just like Dellet said you probably have ammo problems. Most likely from using the small base die. You should try a full length and bump the shoulder back a little more. It could also be thi...

Re: What's wrong with making 300 BLK brass?

Those poo pooing the idea of making your own due to case neck thickness are usually holdovers from when it was the 300 whisper. The 300 Whisper was based on the .221 fireball being necked up and had a thinner neck. One of the main differences between the 300BLK and 300 whisper is that the 300BLK was...

Re: Rainier Ballistics going out of business

Dang, Used their 147gr for the 9mm and their 350gr for the 50AE and 500 Smith and Wesson magnum. I liked them better than berrys bullets and they were cheaper too. I have some of their 300BLK but haven't loaded them up.

Sad to see them go.

Re: Subsonic Defense Ammunition

I have shot most of the expanding subs that are out there. I haven't had the chance to try the new hornady though. With that said the best subsonic expanding bullet that I have used was the 194gr Lehigh Defense. It won't expand until it hits something wet. That means it will easily go through drywal...

Re: What is your 'go-to' super bullet

For hunting or home defense I use the 110gr Barnes black tips as most of my guns are SBR and they fully expand well down into the lower velocities. They also fit perfectly in the magazine and are designed to feed in an AR giving me more confidence of it going bang without a jamming. I have used the ...

Re: First time reloader... best expanding bullets for subsonic 300 blk?

Wow that Rainier looks like that AFTER impact? It looks like an un-fired round! :( Rainiers are my plinking rounds. I have shot them side by side with the hornady XTP which I use for defense and the hornady definitely works better in expanding. The rainier HP will expand better than the berry round...

Re: First time reloader... best expanding bullets for subsonic 300 blk?

Here is the difference between a 147gr 9mm vs. 194gr Lehigh Defense shot into the same media: https://preview.ibb.co/m18B6k/lehigh_vs_9mm.jpg The edges are almost razor sharp once it has expanded. Would you mind sharing the information on the 147 grain. It looks to me like its a Speer Gold Dot, but...
